We exploit music rights by publishing and distributing Indian film soundtracks and songs through our own label Eros Music. In 2006, Eros Music launched its first release Omkara, which became one of the biggest releases of the year. Since then it has been a key focus for us to continue developing our music catalogue and exploiting our music content.

Some of the superhits music releases include Love Aaj Kal, Kambakkht Ishq, Veer, Namastey London, Cheeni Kum and more recently Anjaana Anjaani. Forthcoming pipeline includes big titles like 'RA.One' starring Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor with music by Vishal and Shekhar and Imtiaz Ali' 'Rockstar' starring Ranbir Kapoor with music by A R Rehman.

Continued growth in the digital & music arenas is the key aim of the group. Mobile underpins the revenues in this market which we exploit through our deal with Hungama & other partners. During the year 2010, we announced the conclusion of a music publishing deal with EMI whereby we will exploit their catalogue within South Asia and they will exploit ours in the rest of the world. EMI Music Publishing Catalogue includes more than 1.3 million copyrights including some of the iconic songs like "New York New York", "You"ve Got a Friend", "The James Bond Theme", "Lady Marmalade", "Ain't no mountain high enough", "Always on my mind" "Over The Rainbow", "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" and "Singin' In the Rain". Its current hit-making writers and producers include Arctic Monkeys, Beyonce, James Blunt, Alan Jackson, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys, Pink, Usher, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Amy Winehouse.

We have recently also concluded music deals with T-series & Sony.
